Multiple vehicle tasking made simple with the NEXUS Ground Control Station
Be in command
When you need to task one, or multiple, unmanned flight vehicles to deliver critical information, the Next Generation Unmanned Systems Ground Control Station 'NEXUS GCS' provides you with an intuitive interface - detailed enough to task with confidence - yet subtle enough to not overwhelm operators with unnecessary information.
The intuitive interface reduces training cost and burden. A simple point-and-click system lets the user set up aircraft waypoints and define points on the ground to monitor with cameras/sensors. Aircraft are then simply tasked to execute missions in any order at any time.
Be aware
Flight video from the aircraft is relayed back to NEXUS GCS and displayed to the user in real time. Video can be recorded, paused, rewound, and images may be grabbed as required. Optional remote viewers allows you to provide situational awareness to remote users, by transmitting video feeds wirelessly from the GCS to handheld data relay units.
A gimbal function on the GCS enables sensors on vehicles to be pointed at targets as required. Sensor footprints can be displayed on a moving map interface to immediately identify the geo-location of the area being observed by sensors.
Telemetry from the SNAP autopilot or non-video sensors can also be displayed and/or recorded by NEXUS GCS. This can be especially useful for platform or system R&D, where engineering data may be required. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements for the GCS.
Be Mobile
The NEXUS GCS is presently a stand-alone system weighing less than 10kg, and with 12 hour battery life. It is housed in a rugged, water-tight case. The system contains all hardware and datalinks required for full command of multiple systems.
